First post to write and coutless have been read

I am currently working on a model in Revit 2017.  Tenant fitout with existing perimeter walls all using the wall tool with the exeption of the rear wall with varying thicknesses.  This wall I did a model in place wall (parameters is a wall). I can insert a door into that wall with out any issues until I look at my schdule.  No matter what location or room I place a door in this wall, the room name and number in my schedule for that door does not populate.  Both to and from room shows nothing.  All the other doors are fine.

Any thoughts?

Thank you in advance

Mike

How does your room enclosure look?

Because this is an in-place wall, I doubt there is any room boundry associated with it and so your room might not include the door.   See what happens if you place a room boundry line.  That might have to break at the door - I don't have Revit here to check this out.

I attached a screen shot of what is going on.  I have a small stair where the top of the existing landing is about 2' AFF.  It should not be an issue....

I think room limits is still the problem in combination with Revit may not solve the in-place wall / hosted door issue properly.  You might have to llook to Autodesk if you want to know.

In the mean time, read this from your HELP:  You might be able to drag that aware point into your room.

Room aware was created a few issues back, especially for items like windows.
