Hi Revicity users,

I hope someone can help me with this problem.

I want to fix my door family so that the door frame wont change position when I flip the door.

For example I want the dimension between the inner wall and the door frame to be 60 cm - fixed, so the dimension between outer wall and door frame can be variable.

See the attached jpgs - the red lines symbolize that I want the frame to stay in the same place no matter if I flip or not, and the dimension (60cm) between inner wall and door frame always to be 60cm. So basically only the door swing needs to flip, I guess?

Hope someone can be of help :-)

Thanks.

///Nicky

You can create a parameter "Set-Back" as an instance parameter.

Unfortunately, you have to manuly change each of them.

WWHub, would you pls remove this?  Thanks!

Hi CDWdavid,

Sorry for my late reply.

Just wanted to say thanks for your input.

I found a solution by just using symbolic lines and adding a visibility parameter to each. So now I can just switch either interior or exterior door swing on/off - which is a simple fix.
