Ladies & Gentlemen,In Revit 2017 I have Textures folders 1, 2 and 3. All have a Mats folder which contains all the texture images for use with materials assets. 1/Mats has the most items. I have confirmed via a copy/past test that any image in 2/Mats and 3/Mats is in 1/Mats.Why are there three folders with the higher numbered folders containing less and less images? Is this a coincidence? What is the impetus for a new folder to be created? Should I be expecting 4/Mats to be created at some point? When browsing OOTB content for textures is 1/Mats the only store I have to visit before I leave the mall? Thanks!

A user in another forum informed me that the folders are numbered based on the resolution of the textures within. There are versions of some textures in all three folders but at different resolutions. Not all textures are available as the resolution increases.
