Hello guys,

I want to clearify a simple thing in revit.

Whenever i move an object in revit i use a long way. In Autocad I used to use from option in move which helps me to move an object in single command.

But here in revit. I place an object, Then Create a reference line for the right place, Then Align them, Then delete those reference.

Please have a look at the attached image to see which way i am using now.

And please suggest me any simple way .

Thanks

Try not to bring too many cad processes to Revit because Revit has a better way.  Learn to use the temporary dimensions for the door (in this case).  You can move the node of the temporary dimension to where you need it.

Read this HELP. http://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2014/ENU/?guid=GUID-DE82A2B9-0129-4D03-BC47-17A52BD4E168
