Revit v2017, OS10
I am editing an apartment that I have as a group, and no matter what edit I make in that group when I try to accept and exit I get the error that it wants to fix the group because there is a "Different Curves" error. I amd not not modifying anything with curves so I am not sure what that is refering to. Can anybody give me some insight about this error?

Sorry, we can't help much, you will have to look at your group to discover where the problem is. One way would be to edit the group removing items until you find the problem.

I have had this error when editing detail groups, and likewise, the objects containing the "different curves" are not curved at all. Usually it's a detail component that for some reason Revit takes issue with. If you expand the error message, you should be able to see some indication of what object is causing the problem, both by its name and an object number. It will also highlight the component when the message is active. I find you can usually hit cancel in the error dialog, which sends you back into the group, where you can delete the object causing the problem. Placing the object again from the project browser often works without giving you the error again. I would go out of the group and attempt to close it to see if the error goes away, and repeat if necessary.
The 2 things that are incredibly frustrating, which I don't understand at this point, are 1) what is causing the error, and what it means by "curves" when the objects are not curved; and 2) why it seems to be a problem in particular files and not in others. I can be working in multiple files, and creating or copying/pasting the objects repeatedly, and one file will get the error over and over, while others will never get it. I'm not sure what's triggering it in those files that have the issue, but it's a huge waste of time to deal with it, not to mention maddening.
