hi,
i have this issue with railing returning at intermediate landing. i cant wrap my head around how revit handles this. there is no one in the world that would manufacture railing like this. am i missing something here? please take a look at the image of return created by revit. if you have any tip how to create this the way it is done in real worls please share. i am running out of ideas.
thanks

Revit's standard railing can not solve the problems you have created by using winders. You will have to add custom work in that area.
A solution that is attractive is a newell post like the image attached.
