I need to hatch a small area of my project that is a rated floor.  I need to do this only in my Code Review Plans, and since they are at a small scale, my detail level is Coarse.  I want to hatch this without showing the hatching for all of the other materials in the model.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can acheive this?  I'm using Revit 2016.  Thanks.

Intelligent method would be to create a global parameter. Call it say "Floor Rating". Then create filters and tell them to hatch each room in accordance with what their parameters are populatd with.

Dumb method would be to just use a fill region and hatch the areas that are to be rated.

Thank you, since it is such a small area, I opted for the dumb method.

The semi-dumb method would be to put a elemant graphic overide on your floor, at least that way it will change in shape with the floor.
