v2017, Windows10

In the doors type properties there are the properties "Panel Material" and "Frame Material" that actually select the materials for what the door will look like.  I want to use those two properties in my door schedule, but I cannot figure out how to do that.  Can anybody help me out with that or is it not possible?

I don't believe those are shared parameters and in order to schedule, they must be shared.  You can set up your own shared parameters for these items and use those.

I agree.  It is a pain that I have to redo a whole parameter becuase of this.

Next related question.  How do I delete the original system parameters and have only my new ones show?  I'm afraid I will really confuse the users here If I have two parameters for these things.

It's up to you....you could have the system parameter equal = your new parameter - that would be self explanatory if someone looked at it.

HMMM ... I didn't think of that.  I might give that a try.  Thanks.
