Hi,

I'm working on a project that uses a lot of curtain walls and I'm having a problem with one type of wall; some of the panels of the wall have a different thickness then the others, even though the panel type is the same. The thickness of these panels does not match the value that's given in the panel's type properties. What's even weirder is that this problem occurs with middle panels only; the last panel on either end of the wall does have the correct thickness.

In the images below you can see my problem:

Unfortunately I have not drawn these walls myself, so I don't know if something special has been done to them by the creator. But other then different panel types (which they are not) I don't know what could have caused this behaviour.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I will not open your site, you can put your images in your post and I recommend that others do not as well.  This is the first and only post from this user.

This is some sort of user error but we have no way of telling what it is.

Ok, excuse me, I thought imgur was a well accepted image-sharing website.

I've added the images to this post. Thanks!

The image on the right shows that something else is going on.... something cutting the panels.  They are the same thickness below that area.

Are these panels really wall components that can be cut?

Thanks for your help WWHUB, the problem is fixed. I changed the thickness of the panels to a different value and they all changed to that value. When I changed it back to the original value all panels were the same again. Just a bug in revit it seems.

I'm 99% sure it is not a bug in Revit.  Someone here could evaluate the problem if you posted the file.  To do so, you would have to open a copy and delete everything except this view and this wall, then purge the file 3 times to clear it out.

If you are content with your result then that is up to you.
