Hello, i want to see if there is a way to create a filter or anything to show a dashed line for the face of wall on a roof plan. I was able to get revit to show 2 lines representing a full width wallbut I am only needing the roof plan show the exterior line dashed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

that is a lack feature in revit. You can put detail lines (dashed) by picking those wall edges (while they are visible wether wireframe or underlay), linking them (for future changes) and then turn walls off. Dashed lines will remain visible. Same as you have to do with overhead slab edges.

I also can not understand why after 15 years of developing revit, it can´t do that as simple command. And it costs 5000 dollar. Absurd.

I'm updated my template and wanted to get rid of any extra steps. Thank you for the help.
