I am having a problem copying a "Detail Group" from one floor plan to another floor plan. I click the the detail group and click the copy to clipboard button. I switch views to the floor plan I want and click the paste (align to current view). I do not get anything after this not even an error message.

Always check VG first - Are you sure the right categories are on?
Is there any model elements at all in the group?
Are some of the elements keynotes or other elements that are hosted?

Does this happen only when you 'Paste Aligned' or can you do just a simple paste?

I don't see this as an issue corrected by a service pack but you do have SP1, SP2 and 2017.1 installed - correct?
