Hi everyone,

How do I get stairs to appear cut in the same way as walls appear when cut?

I want to the cut plane that is cut to appear filled, in the same way that it appears in a section for instance.

This helps understand the space better.

Below is an example of the end result expected. (I used a hatch region to work around the problem, but this is very "un-Revitly").

Revit will not do that, it only cuts the stairs 'vertically' using a break symbol.

Is there a way however to get revit to consider the stair as a solid volume and cut through it?

Or is there a way to creat e a custom cut symbol to do the trick?

You can create any detail element that you want.
