Hi,

Can you help me, please? The roof doesn't show up on floor plan. I can see the outline of the roof (with gutters etc but no other lines).

Just to knock out the obvious: underlay roofplan turned on, visibility/graphics: all roof parts are turned on, no view template.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Suzanne

I assume you are using Revit 2017 and the floor plan you are in is a level below the roof and you have selected your roof level within the Propoerties window's Underlay parameter.

Some thoughts:

1) Is your roof actually a Roof category? It may have been created as a family or an in-place family and be some other category like Generic Model which you have hidden in your visibility/graphics.

2) Click on reveal hidden elements lightbulb to see if its hidden.

3) Is it on a different phase to the plan view's phase filter and thus not showing?4) Is your plan view properties window underlay settings correct? ie. looking down?

5) Is there a view template applied to your plan view that hides the roof?Might get lucky with one of these.

Read your help on > PLAN REGION ... define a different region for your roof area that has a higher cut plane.
