Hi all,Is there a way to lock the visibility of a Workset? I know a Workset can be locked for editing. More specific, is there a way to lock the 'hiding of certain Workset' in the project so, because of me being the owner, it won't appear and can't be made visible by a third party opening the project as a local file?I don't think so, but do hope so.Kind regards,Maarten

You can use a view template to set workset visibility but if the person removes teh view template they van control the workset visibility again. Im not sure if there is a way to lock a view template to a view.

Working in a viewtemplate has to do with specific views related to that viewtemplate. Bugt i'm trying to hide a full workset (or more full worksets) in the total project, so an external company can't see that specific workset in whatever view they create. That's in the case of an external company modelling a piece of the project in a local file and having the possibility to synchronize with the same central file as i. Other than locking the workset for editing so the external company can't do anything with that workset (which is possible of course), i don't want them to see it.

No way to do what you want that I know of.

BTW - It sounds like they may or may not be linked to your central.   You should be in control enough to know that.
