Ok,  I am hoping someone can help me.  I modeled an existing building without setting up design options, which i now need to incorporate.  I tried watching a few videos and stuff but im not seeing how to accomplish what i want without starting my existing model all over.  I will try to sum up my question this way.  How can i add parts of the building that i modeled before creating the design options. I did not know ahead of time we would be doing options.  From what I see, when you create the design options it will only allow you to put new stuff drawn after the design options were created on to these options.  Not stuff you had previously modeled???????

If something is modeled before you create the design options can you add that building or walls or whatever to your design options?

You need to read the help items on design options.  In there, you will see that you can move main items to design options at any time.

Thanks. I figured it out right after i posted this thread.  To me the process seems somewhat butt backwards, or not very user friendly.  Now i have to figure out how to show both design options on my sheet and not grayed out or whatever when its in edit mode.

You set up multiple views with VG set to control what design option is shown in each view.

Design options are a little tough to understand at first but they work well.
