For some reason, I am no longer able to put families into subcategories that I create in the project. Is this something new in Revit 9?
Anyone have a work around for making say, some furniture (work table in Kitchen) visible in a view while some furniture (dining tables, seating in dining area) not visible in the same view?
Thanks for your time!

Got it! Use filters and set up a Yes/No paraemeter in your families to determine how you want to control visibility per view. You may have to use workarounds, but there's a workaround for everything in Revit! That's why I love it and that's why our entire office just switched to it!

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! |
