Yes, you can use formulas to calculate paramter values and you can use formulas in schedules. There are some tutorials on how to do that in the Help menu. I think the syntax will be a little different from that in Excel though, but should be able to do the same stuff. Speaking of which, does anyone know of a reference to the various formula calculations available in Revit?

Need help? I'm probably in my chat room!

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!

Your best bet for formula usage is to log-in to the subscription center, go to the AU2005 site and download the handout for class BD35-2 "Take Your Autodesk Revit Building Family to the Next Level" by Dave Conant and Steve Stafford. The handout contains all of the forumla syntax plus the use of conditional formulas.

I search in www.au2005.com but couldn't find that handout. Is it possible for you that link the page?!

Thank you very much
