When I place details on my detail sheets and enter the detail title, Revit stacks the title automatically is there a way to stop Revit from doing that? I have created custom titles and I sill have the issue. I figure that I am not the only one that has had this issue with longer detail names.

You need to make a new view title family that has the field for title expanded so the title does not wrap as it is doing. I've attached one of mine you can reverse engineer or modify. Once you have the view title family to your liking, load it into your project or template. You then need to either modify an existing viewport title to use this new family, or duplicate and create a new viewport title type that uses the new view title family. Go to the type properties of the viewport title and in the 'Graphics" "Title" choose you new view title family as the one to use for this viewport title type. Be sure to set the viewport title type of your view placed on the sheet to the new viewport title type (available in the drop-down box list) Tom Post edited on 2006-05-09 16:28:53 Post edited on 2006-05-09 16:30:15

Thank you that worked, I guess that I did not make the label box large enough.
