Any suggestion on what command I could use for a drywall bulk head?

I just use walls for bulkheads. I typically constrain there top and bottom to to a level and give them the proper offsets top and bottom.
If you want to get more technically correct, create a new walltype that is just for bulkheads and in their type properties set their function to "soffit".

Thanks again Tom, that was what I was thinking but wanted to see if this was something that was typically used.
By the way Tom how long have you been a Revit user? Isee you answer a lot of questions for people.

I've been using Revit for a little over three years now.
I'm a lame duck here where I work right now as I gave notice that I accepted a new position at a national A/E firm to implement Revit.
I probably won't have the same amount of time in the near future to be as active on this forum.
Meantime, ask away!

i know this thread is a year old, but i cannot find anywhere else this might be applicable. I understand the whole create wall thing for bulkheads, but what if you wanted to tag it with a height above finished floor? this way wont work will it? and what exactly does the soffit type do to the wall type actually? thanks
