Hi all,
I am working on a complex functional building program that is set up in a excel sheet.
the sheet contains for example the room names, the room area in m2, the department, etc.
now I would like to link this excel sheet to my Revit model, so I define room or area tags, (just with simple room boundery lines instead off wall types) with are filled with the data from the excel sheet, the room name and de room area.
for the representation of the area i will create a formula like W (=sqrt Area) x H (=sqrt Area) = Area , so i will derive the W and the H from the Area that is set in the excel sheet.
offcoarse it should be possible to update the excel sheet so the model will be updated automatically.
Someone knows a way ho to do this?
