Hi, Just wanted to know if I have to buy Revit initially before I subscribe to receive new versions as they come out. Or will they send me the full version if I start the subscription now? Thanks,

I don't think you can have a subscription until you have the software you are subscribing to maintain. When you initially buy in, you have the option to add the subscription at any time thereafter, but the subscription is most likely tied to your serial number.

When you buy your new seat of Revit (I recommend Revit SERIES, you get AutoCad with it), you can buy your subscription at the same time and it will start the day you buy it. Then, when the new release comes out in March of next year, you'll get the new release.. Then your subscription will come due on the anniversary of your initial purchase. Be aware folks, the Revit Subscription is a whole new beast. From what I can see, you can only upgrade Revit Building 9 or any of the other Revit software THRU a subscription. I'm still foggy about that and I'm a dang reseller.. That's definitely one you want to read the EULA on..
