How do you go about constructing a Mansard roof in Revit?

Create a level where you would want the mansard to stop (CAll it Roof cutoff - whatever). Create a normal roof with vertical slope you require for the mansard on the level below this new level where you want the mansard's height to stop.
Create the roof (which will be a VERY tall gable or hip roof), then select the new roof
then under properties select cut off level option - and select the level you created (Roof cut off level). The gable or hip now stops at this level, effectively yielding a mansard. Now create a second roof at the cutoff level to complete the roof. Join the two roofs...
