Trying to get a soffit type detail. I set this up using a Soffit Hgt level and based my walls and ceilling on that level. I want the gypboard to wrap all the way around.. what do I do?
This is what I'm getting:

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! |

THE ONLY WAY I CAN THINK OFF RIGHT NOW (AFTER A LONG DAY..) IS YOU USE SWEEP FOR YOUR PLASTER, DON'T THINK YOU CAN JOIN THEM OTHERWISE...

not sure if this would help, and might be too basic. i have started adopting mr spot's and others idea of separating roof/wall/floor layers, so you obtain better control. this reflects mr spot's and eldados's assertion that we should be using revit as the buildings are built, ie as separate elements. i do not know how you make the ceiling/wall pieces of plasterboard merge though.

I try to build things the way they are supposed to be built, this way my details are built as I model. However, when you can't get things to join the way they are supposed to this method becomes difficult. I'm thinking I may just have to build an in-place family to handle situations like this. Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks for your time guys/gals.
