we have a 16 unit project with town homes linked in groups of 3 and 5. each town home has a different ff elevation. is there an easy way to copy a completed 2 story unit to a different location and elevation?

If all you want is the front wall. Then go into a plan view and copy it, then open up the other project and in plan view and paste it in.
