Please advise if it is possible to vary the Render color of items such as the exterior siding (wall cladding) that is found in the standard library. The 4 color variations are not sufficient. The revit help states that checking the "Update when Accurender occurs" box will acheive this but I have no luck here. If it is not possible are there other methods to create or import a similiar material with more flexibility. Your help is greatly appreciated! Steve

You could always open the jpeg (name and path noted in the material properties box) and alter in image editing software, then resave as a new jpeg and import into your material.

Many of the stock Accurender materials in Revit are "procedural" meaning they are based on mathamatics not bitmap images. The siding materials seem to fall into the procedural category. To edit, right click on the Accurender material, choose "edit" then go to the "base" of the material and mix the RGB to whatever color you want. When exiting save to a new material name either in the "user" library or create a new standard library for your company. HTH Tom
