When you need to add identical text to multiple views, Is there a method for typing the text in one view while at the same time populating other similar views, for instance, the existing, demolished, and proposed floor plan views of a remodeling project.
Don't want to take the time to add text to a view and then "copy" & "paste aligned / current view" for each plan view.
Thank you.

you would need to create a detail group to do that of the appropriate annotations, then place the group in each view. That way you could change one and they will all change.

ONCE THE DETAIL GROUP IS INSERTED IN THE DRAWING, CAN YOU CHANGE THE PROPERTIES TO MAKE IT NOT ACT AS A DETAIL GROUP AND EDIT INDEPENDANTLY FROM THE OTHERS?

You would neet to ungroup that specific text group, edit, then regroup as a different name.

Hi...Is anybody able to advise as to how I can get my text to be pinned into a position so that when I change the scale of my drawing the text annotation remains proportionately in relation to where it was initially placed. I might be missing the point but for example when I annotate/draw in scale say 1:100 but wish expand this to 1:50 the text displaces itself all over the view and I have to then go backwards and realign and reposition it all so that it does not conflict with the drawing entities. Your comments are appreciated.

late reply but yes ive encountered the same problem where if you have a text group pasted into views of different scales your text jumps all over the place. best thing to do is text up a very large scale of the view (at say scale 1:20) and get the text as centered as you can, then paste it out to the larger scale drawings and it should read ok. In regards to the original comment about pasting text into multiple views, could you not just copy to clipboard then edit-paste aligned-select views by name? that way you can paste into a whole bunch of drawings without having to open each individually.
