I can't figure out how to make site topography show up properly in a render. I have beach house and i want the grass/beach/water to all show up, but when i render the view all the topography is grey!? I know the materials grass, sand, water are set properly and are accurender. Why wont it work, what can i do ?

you have to turn off use sun shadows on the main render settings screen and that should do the trick

Also check phase and phase filter settings of hte view you want to render. There are materials for phases that render grey if the settings are not set to the most recent phase with a "show all" filter.
Also check that you do not have a ground plane on.
