I created a detail with the "callout" tool. Looks good, created another detail from the first one, again using the "callout" tool. That looked good too, done and gone. Than came back to the second detail, and part of the detailed disappeared. Checked back at the first detail and it looks okay, but the second detail has a lot of elements missing. The second callout was created from the first callout, yet most of the elements are missing on the second, but not the first. Checked the visibility, everything matches on both views. Anyone know why everything displays on one view, but not the other, when they where both created the same way? I hope that's clear. Thanks

Detail elements are "view specific". This is all text, dimensions, annotaions, detail components, detail lines, tags etc. A callout will only show the "model elements". If you have other view specific information, you can copy/paste into your other views. Tom

Thanks tomdinmn, for the quick reply. Do you mean, that I can't draft on a call out? Some of the elements that are missing are model elements, and some of the drafting element remains. I'm having to do a little drafting on all views, as I have not yet mastered this model building. Thanks again.
