The "line weight" is a type parameter of the dimension style. Select dimensionstyle and go the the type properties to change.

Thanks for the reply. I am working on Revit 8 (Building) and there is no type parameter for the lineweight of the TEXT in the dimension. There is a type parameter for the lineweight of the dimension line, tick mark, etc. but nothing for the lineweight of the dimension text.

Revit uses Windows TTF's. How do you control their lineweight in Excel, Word, Photoshop, Access...............??

u can't bold the text in the dimension but u can rather increase the text size from the dimension properties in the Text Parameters.
