I hope someone can help with this - i have created a wall with a sweep that goes accross the windows and doors. The doors are cut out of the sweep but it continues accross the windows. Is there a way to prevent this?

Take a look at the tutorial: Sculptured_Walls by: Mr GG Perhaps a little cheating is what your windows need?!.,

I'm having the same problem. I'm using the host wall sweep and it goes throught the bottom and/or top of my doors and windows. I looked at the tutorial and couldn't figure out how it applied to this situation. Is there no way to cut-out portions of sweeps in the middle of a wall?

Another thought. Maybe I'm going about the whole process wrong. I'm trying to get a brick siding 3/4 of the way up the wall. I tried to create a wall like this, but I couldn't edit the finish to make it only go up a certain distance. So I've been adding successive wall sweeps by using the host sweep command. There must be an easier way.

I would suggest sitting down and seriously studying how vertically compound walls are created in Revit. It will surely take more time up front, but after that you will know how to do it in the future and save you tons of time and frustration in the end.
