ok...so i know when you copy a level tag it does not associate with a particular view, which is perfect for what i want. i am working on wall sections, and everytime i add (or rather copy) a level line i have to go back to all the other views and hide it in that view. is there a way where, when a level is copied, it is only visible in that view, and you can "show annotation object in view" instead? i have a building with many T.O. Window levels, as well as parapet heights, and it is a pain in the neck adjusting each view for a level i only need in 1 wall section. thanks!

Nope unfortunately that's not possible.... Alternative would be to draw a line in that 1 view for the head instead of creating a level for it. The only issue would be is the line would get cropped by the crop region and not extend like a level...

Also consider using a symbol version of the level. You can create a family that has a leader, elevation marker and editable text for the name and height of the level that can either be automatic or noted by the user. This is what my firm has been using and it works pretty well. You can also alter a spot-dimension family to use the elevation marker and name text, that makes a pretty good auto referenced level.
