when you print a shaded line view the lines come out straight..
but when you export that view as an image the jagged lines go with it..
how can you save a view as a JPEG and get the lines straight?

i would imagine that the reason the line is jagged because you are converting a vector image to a raster image. Raster images consist of pixels and lines that are on angles tend to read somewhat jagged depending on the resolution (dots per inch) of the file. You can try and lessen this effect by increasing the resolution and decreasing the x and y size of the image when exporting the image.
you could end up with some very large files depending on the resolution and the size of the files

ok i thought i probly didn't explain enough detail of what i'm talking about..
notice any 3D view on your screen and you will see that the lines are
not straight.. some of the lines are either rough or jagged..
go to file>export<image and save it as a jpeg..when you open that
image (preferably in paint) it will look exactly like the 3D view you
had in revit.. now go back to that view in revit and print it.. in print
setup before you print it set it to presentation or high and print it
and then compare the jpeg to the print and notice the print has no
jagged or rough edges.. getting those straight lines as a jpeg like
a print could have something to do with "print to file" but i don't
know how that works.. when i do select print to file it saves the
print as a "PRN" file but how do i convert that to a jpeg that looks
as good as the print quality? thanks very much for your help
