I have read the help & other threads. Could someone please give me some help that I can understand. I am working on a very large house requiring many levels & lots of section & elevation views. Solved part of my problem by selecting 2D on the height levels. This allowed me to adjust the length of the datum for individual views. I am now having trouble seeing the level datums in some of my sections. I drag the crop region out, drag the level in to view then when I reset the crop region the level disapears. Dont understand the principal of the scope box and when I apply it my levels lose there set length. I am constantly adjusting the length of my level datums. Please help if you can. Regards Steve

Hey, first, in plan draw a new scop box all around your model, then go to a section and make sure the scope box is higher than your model, click on a level, right click and select all instances, go to properties, choose your scop box from the drop down arrow. second, i had to work on a very complicated house once and it was set with many different levels, my suggestion would be to simplify thing a bit with a fewer levels, you can always offset from a level and as a bonus you will remembers levels better Smile

here is a quote form the revit beginners blog on levels in section entitled Beginner Bloopers Levels: You shouldn't have to add a lot of levels when they are only inches apart. Too many levels clutter elevations and sections so keep an eye on how your users utilize levels. Make sure your users know that they can OFFSET heights of objects. Levels can be difficult to modify later once they've been established. HTH
