I asked this question a couple of weeks ago ( THANK YOU MR SPOT) but am wondering if the changes in room tags in the latest edition of Revit makes any difference to the answer.
What is the best way to show different floor coverings in a floor plan? do you create lots of little seperate floors for say tiles, vinyl, floor boards, decking, concrete & carpet or is it better to use the room tag with floor finishes embeded? (the separate floor method is a pain when you want to move walls)
I would prefer the latter but does that mean I need to turn floor visiblity off in order to see the finishes. The other problem is that you can see the floor finishes underneath components.
Can anyone help solve this one?
Cheers, leeroy
