I think the best thing about Revitcity is you can ask people on the forum for a specific kind of family. If someone has it they can upload it and not only you benefit, but everyone else does as well! Does anyone else have any comments on the best ways to use Revitcity? -Hiroshi- -Revitcity Admin-

Hey Hiroshi, One problem I have is that my library has been much modified. For example my Trusses have several parameters, so on the schedule, it can be broke into fields such as Height at tail, clipped dimensions, etc. If I upload a truss will those special parameters be uploaded with it? Or do I need to upload the parameter files also. My template would not work well without the library parts that would be associated with the new fields. In order to upload a template file, the library would need to be uploaded with it. On the other hand, if someone else uploads a part with special parameters, how will that item work in my project? Maybe I'm wrong but would like some input. Bob
