Hi,
I want to make a family modeling for a glass balustrade handrail where the centre glass pieces will be constant size in width and
the start and end glass width may vary equally according to the total length .
For example : i want to create a handrail for balcony, lets say total length comes 5m.
each glass panels width should be 900mm except start and end.
900*5pcs=4500mm, hence the balance 500mm width should be into two equal pieces.one at start and another at end.
Does anybody knows how to make like this?

This can be done using arrays but it can become quite complicated very quickly. Also would you really want the end pieces to only be 250 wide each or would you want to have 4-900mm wide pieces totalling 3600 and the remaining 1400 be divided in half to equal 700 at both ends? If done this way it would make it so that under certain situations such as the railing is 5600mm long the end 2 pieces would then be 900mm as 5600 is evenly divisible by 900 instead of having 2 end panels of 450mm.

Remember, you can always have multiple railings for complex situations. Sometimes only the top rail might be one run with seperate sectioned railings as needed.
