I have been getting this message "family is not of the correct category" on a lot of stuff I have been downloading. Please help.

The best example i can think of is:
Trying to insert a door using the component command.
Im not saying this is what you are doing but its similar. If you download a chair, that should be inserted using the Component tool. If you download a door, that should be inserted using the Door tool.
