We are having an issue in 2017 where views and sections are locked and we cannot adjust scale or add sections to an elevation for drafting views. Anyone else experiencing this?

As far as the scale change goes... does the view have a view template assigned to it? That will lock the scale if that is included in the template.

It does, based on what you said I went to the properties screen and just changed from the specified view template to none and I was able to make the changes I wanted. It seems like in 2015 we did not have to do this. Thanks for jogging my mind!
