I'm working on a project with several different cladding assemblies (window wall, masonry, curtain wall, metal panel, etc). Some have been modelled using curtain walls, some have been modelled as regular walls. I am wanting to create a simple elevation diagram that assigns each cladding type a color... so that consultants and the contractor can have a map of where all the different systems are.

Is there some sort of visibility setting in revit that would easily do this? Something that would allow me to assign a given wall type a solid color. Visibility graphics would not work, because I've got multiple curtain walls that need to be assigned to different colors... I would need to do this by the wall type name. I looked in Filters, but couldn't see anything that would change the color of the object.

Any help you can give is appreciated.

i think your only solution is to use filters under visibility graphics , assign a filter for each type of walls with its name and give it a specific color .....
