Revit 2015

In the door schedule creation menu there is a field available to add "phase created" to the door schedule, but the same field does not appear in the room schedule creation menu.  Is there a way to make that field available to the room schedule as well?

Look in your schedule properties, the phase setting is there.

The phase that shows in properties just sorts ... I don't want to sort them, I want to add a column in my schedule.

Oh, I miss understood your question.   You can't do this with rooms in one schedule.   You can have a seperate schedule for what rooms are in each phase.

Can I add my own shared parameter and sort of fake it into working?

Try followings:

1. Go to your Room Schedule, in "Properties", click "Fields", then the "Schedule Properties" window will be shown.

2. Click "Add Parameter", then the "Parameter Properties" window will be shown, in "Group parameter under:" botton, use pull-down list select "Phasing", in "Type of Parameter", pull down list select "Text" (try this for the time being, you can modify it later). Give a name such as "Project Phasing". Now you have the "Project Phasing" column in you schedule.

3. In your Schedule Properties, now you have "Phasing", you can select "New Construction" or "Existing"

Yes, Thanks.  That was what I talked about "sort of faking it".  It is now a double entry for room phasing but it does add a column to the schedule.  Thanks.  If anyone knows a better way please let me know.
