I have created a Revit family using 2 3D dwg. I created the RFA using the "generic model" function commonly used to create families in Revit. When I go to place the RFA in plan view it comes in a 3D orientation as opposed to looking as if its in a 2D or arial view. The RFA is unstable. Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this or create the Revit family in a different way, please help! The furniture RFA is attached here!
Thanks
Ivan P.

Try using native solids from revit instead of DWGs. There are a few resources online about conversion from different 3d formats (sketchup, etc) into revit.
