Hello,
I laid all plan details on sheet and made a list of these views but they are only in order of alphabete without showing their correspondent numbers on sheet.
I tried many times to show them in order of numerical, but couldn't find any parameter to make this happen.
Am I missing anything?
Thx

Often we will append a number to the front of the name of every view so that we can order them the way we want them then when we put them on a sheet we use the name without the number for "name on sheet" which is a property of all views.

Thanks, that is the same way we used to do.
Just wonder what is the reason that Autodesk did't include this founction which is so obvious.

hifrank... What function? Marmiketin explained how to do it in Revit. The view properties also tells you what the sheet callout number is.

The founction of showing the detail numbers in View List instead of manully naming them with a number as Marmiketin said.

I think the answer is to some of us, this is NOT an obvious need. There are many views that we have in Revit that are never placed on a sheet. And those that are placed on sheets are often moved into a different order when needed for better sheet and project composition. I would sure not want my view name changing and moving around - just too hard to find!
But Revit gives us the option to not have the same view name on the sheet as we do in the view browser. WOW, what a great tool... Too bad it was never in CAD, just like most of the advancements in Revit.
