Hi Chaps, the issue is the following:

without going through the project that can result boring,

I have a residential project with 60units and 20 section views. On each section view I need to do some filled region in order to calculate some area of the ground excavated. it will became a backfill afterwards. I was thinking to extract the area in section and then moltiply by the lengh of each house. 

I would like to: - "schedule" the region areas relating to each section and label them. (I know that region dimensions can't be on a schedule, so I need some alternative...)

1) what can I do instead of using the filled regions in order to schedule the areas in section view?

2) how can I relate the "object" that will give me tha area to the corrisponding section view in a schedule?

Have you looked at using a site plan with cut and fill calculations.  Start HERE in your HELP.
