I have been surfing on the forums just to find an answer to my problem. However, it seems that the way that Revit calculates the riser and trads, also its integration with other families has some problems. First of all, although i specified the height and depth before drawing the stair (30x1Shadey, it gives me the riser depth 28 (please find the picture in the attachement). The other issue is the representation of staircase on section and plan views. As you can follow from the screeshots of my project, the end and start point of the stair is different in both views. Besides, there is an extra riser over the top tread which also shortens the actual depth of the last tread. Nor is this all!! After having trouble with all these stuff, i decided to do it manually, but it didnt worked either!!! I tried to match the start and end point of the RC stair from the sections then mask the region. The problem here is, for some reason the section and plan didnt match again. Am I doing wrong? If I have to do it all manual, so what is the point of using a BIM software?

Select your stair and there are check boxes for start and end with riser. It would seem that you are trying to make the rise/run of the stairs differ at the top so that it stretches to where the landing is. Rise/run of stairs should be the exact same throughout your entire building otherwise it becomes a sort of tripping hazard due to the human condition. Just make your landing larger at the top. Your stairs seem to be doing exactly what they should do based on how you drew them.

Also why are you working in centimeters? Millimeters is standard for metric.

I end up doing a lot of models in place to get the stairs exactly as they should be.
