I have created a trellis family with posts, that spans 2 floors. I can see the posts poched in the upper floor but not in the lower floor. I created a plan regiosn on the lower floor and placed the cut plane 5'-0" above the lower floor but still cannot see the extrusion poche. Please clarify how I can view the posts as cut in the lower floor, with a poche. Thank you in advance

Any detail items added to a family in a plan will only show in the project view that hosts the family. If you want a material poche, then the family needs to be cuttable and assigned the correct material.
You could add filled regions on the appropriate levels and group those with the family.
