I have linked a Revit model from the Architects into my Interiors model and can not control the visibility of any subcategories from the linked model. I can turn off a complete category but need more flexibility than that.
Any suggestions?

Worksets would give you that flexibilty but you would have to combine the models.

Thanks but I can't use worksets with external consultants. The only way I can an external parties rvt file is by linking files.
Do you have an alternative?

Revit 9 will give you much more control over the visibility of linked RVT files.
