I'm new to rendering in Revit, and am having some trouble with a model with several phases:
Windows that I have drawn as created in the existing phase don't seem to show up as transparent in shaded views - anyone know what might be wrong? I also can't define them as a daylighting source for rendering. If I make the windows created in New Construction, they show as transparent, but still won't render as daylight sources.
Any suggestions would be appreciated...

Having the same trouble with my window families. It will allow me to select them as daylight sources, but when raytraced, no lights comes from them. Windows also do not appear transparent in shaded or rendered view.
