Anyone have experience using A360 Collaboration for Revit outside of the United States?  I'm curious about performance...

Eurofag here. Its not supported, even by AutoDesk (well practically!).

Even though Autodesk sell it, their servicing support and contact methodologies are setup in such a complex way that if there was ever a problem, it would be days until any project model issue was resolved. No project can suffer downtimes like that.

Autodesk rely heavily on their resellers sorting out the setup and problems. But the resellers aren 't interested in C4R as there is not money in it for them.

At over 700 pounds per seat, its criminally overpriced. I have been trying to convince my bosses to use it for three years but none will invest the high money necessary to buy in. Its way too much.

From what I have read, C4R is underperforming everywhere and suffers more lag than an Icelandic hot water pipe. Revit models are just too complex, too big and transfer way too much data at every second to make for smooth workflow. No investment in Accelerator software can overcome this demand for data communication.

Cloud modelling ( or Level 3 BIM as UK calls it) is a long way off. Its going to be costly if C4R is the only route available to us.

I really look forward to the day when their are more alternatives available to us but for now its a one horse race and Autodesk know it so they are charging like wounded bulls  to take advantage of it.
