Revit 2014 in use.
The odd family I have created - every now and again one of the elevation dimensions shows up in the 3D view - how do I stop that?
Have included snippet of what I am talking about.
Must admit, not a big issue, more annoying. I have included a second image - snippet of Windows Explorer showing how in a few cases the 3D dimension is still there in the 3D view Thumbnail.

Turn off dimensions in the 3D view visibility graphics under annotations

FYI, if the parameter dimension is tied to the geometry itself, it will show in 3D. If it’s associated with the ref planes, it will not show in 3D.
