Hey guys!Does anybody know an elegant way to make the cut lines of the core of the wall  different depending on the walls function? In my office if the structural core of the wall is load-bearing, let's say it's a solid concrete wall, then the cut line of the core should be 0.5 mm. If it's a partition wall, out of bricks, or a lightweight steel construction, the core should be 0.3. The solution I came up is to use the Override Host Layers, and assign the core in the partition walls as [2] substrate. The problem with this is that i can't use the substrate layer now as intended, because it would show up in other walls with a thicker line. I tried juggling with assigning different line weights to the wall layer functions, and using at the same time different common edge line style thicknesses, oraz using filters, but the filters don't allow changes in the sub-layers of the wall, only the whole wall (but don't override common edges!). The effect wass that alwyas some lines had a wrong line weight. Any ideas on how to do this? Would be grate if it was possible to override host layers depending on the wall function on somethig. Is autodesk trying to do something with this?

I don't see any way to do what you want and I doubt if Autodesk has any changes in mind.  You might look at changing your office standards and possibly using a wall shading to indicate the difference.
